Another song that is still relevant today. This was organized by USA for Africa to help ease hunger and fight AIDS in Africa and the U.S. I dedicate this to those who are actually making an effort to make a difference...I'm sure most of us can do a little bit more.
...I miss the days when Michael Jackson was normal....well, normal for him.

i will dedicate this to michel jackson. he wrote the song and well...he needs as many dedications as he can get. i think he's lost his way a bit.
First, let me start by saying the memory this song triggers for me is so silly for such a moving song. It does make me think about deeper things but my first memory is the one below.
I was in grade 3 and begged my mom to buy the 45 of We Are The World. Begged and begged and begged. She bought it and I played it over and over again on our record player just singing at the top of my lungs. One day at school we were asked to bring in our favourite music, I brought in my 45. It got totally scratched, couldn't play it anymore after that day and I never fessed up, just slipped it back in the sleeve and stacked it with Mom's other records. Probably somewhere in between Barbra Streisand and Air Supply. Sorry mom!
